I got Chandler

Still on the fence, really like Pitbull but he has had a long lay off and Curran will be much much bigger
 
I think Curran wins, but I'm feeling Hawn over Chandler. He's got power in hands and has been very difficult to take off his feet so far. If things get hairy for him striking, I think he has the advantage in the clinch to bully him on the cage.
 
Curran should win but Pitbull is a powerful little fucker. Unlike Warren, Pat can beat him with other ways than just takedowns.

With the 155 title, I won't sleep on Hawn but Chandler is a tough fighter to put down. Held came close with I think a heel hook and then Alvarez had him in trouble in a few spots, too. Sure, Alvarez takes an inordinate amount of damage in his fights, but I like Chandler's resilience. With that said, Hawn has a ton of power and I'll be surprised if he spends a lot of time on his back.

I'm going with both champs retaining.
 
Chandler and I decided Curran, the size difference and the lay off might to to much for Pitbull, I would have picked him a year ago or whenever it was

Wouldn't be shocked if he still won though, you will know y the end of the first if he has it back fully
 
Baby Bellator looks all grown up presentation-wise. I hope this debut episode delivers exciting fights and starts off with a bang.
 
Yeah, loving the improvements production wise from Spike. Better lighting make a world of difference.

Fun opener, too. Curran picked Pitbull apart, bloodying him up and shutting his eye with some swelling. Freire made it a close one though, figured he would've. Been more aggressive.
 
Soooo good to see Bellator in HD.

FWIW, on the Meltzer board it's been the most active Bellator thread in a long, long time. Most of the UFC geeks are in the thread trolling, but the point is they are watching.

Usually the Bellator thread consist of me and one or two other hardcores, and only when one of us bothers to make one. Never gets past page one.

Great performance by Chandler. Just took down an Olympian like he was just some regular Joe. Definitely one of the top dogs in the LW division.
