Gotta go with Miggy, though I think him and Votto are 1A and 1B. Goldschmidt and Davis had great years, but it was one season. Miggy and Joey have been pretty much the best for the last three.

Going with Miguel because he seems to be able to stay healthy over the course of his career where as Votto has had a little more time on the DL. But, honestly, I'd take either one over everyone else in baseball.

As evidenced by the quality offseason work the Orioles have put. If you think Dad still doesn't have a hand in the pot, I have some beachfront property in Nevada I'd like to sell you.

Yea. The more I look at it, the more I just have to give it to Miggy, simply because of the consistency. If Votto had stayed healthy, maybe we could make an argument. He's a better base runner and he's a better fielder. And while defense is secondary at first, a good defensive first baseman can pay off, especially digging out the errant throw.

I dunno, maybe I'm just trying to make an argument for the sake of making an argument. Gun to my head, I'd take Miggy. But, again, I really wouldn't complain about either one, ya know?
