Wow, did not know that Austin Jackson was that close (overall WAR in the last three seasons) to Kemp and Jones.

Going to go with Ellsbury. I think he's going to have a monster year. His defense will shine in a small park and that short porch will be useful to him.

Then why is the thread titled "Best in the Game"? Shouldn't it be "Third Best in the Game"?

it was bad enough when Thomas was subjectively picking his own top 5 to include in the poll. Now he's including his top 3-8? :lol4:

Defense seems to fluctuate too much year to year to really call it "regression" anyway, but I think his lack of patience will come back to bite him at some point and the offense will come back down to earth a bit due to his single digit walk rate.

I didn't look very deeply, but his 2012 and 2013 offensive totals don't look very different, save for his BAPIP. Everything, at least to me, appeared to be moderate increases. Defensively, his metrics soared which certainly affected the bottom line for WAR.
