Both he and Reyes have that problem. It's such a demanding position defensively. It's a wonder that Jeter lasted all of those years out there playing almost every day every season except for three.

But to be fair, Tulo is never fucking healthy. He hasn't cracked 150 games since 2010.

Tulo is the best, until his defense regresses. At which point Simmons's bat will have improved to a level where he's putting up 6-7 WAR seasons routinely. There is also a wave of stud SS 'spects who should be hitting the majors in the next couple years that will have something to say about dethroning Tulo.

So in other words, it's still Tulo for the next two to three years, at which point Xander, Correa, Russell, Lindor #etc will be established and Andrelton will be putting up MVP caliber seasons.

I understand that you are a Yankee fan, so you've never watched Segura play. Hell you probably had to google Segura's name after reading this thread, just to learn who he is.
