Best Run of the BCS Era?

There have been a couple of mini-dynasties during the BCS era already... which one do you guys think are the best? Here's a couple, but there are definitely more out there. This might seem similar to NAHSTE's thread, but this is just about comparing specific runs in a program rather than how they performed over the entirity of the decade.

Myself personally, I have a hard time deciding between Miami and USC. Granted USC got sanctioned for their efforts, but that run is absolutely ridiculous. 82 and fucking 9.

Miami probably had the most talent of any of the teams listed, but their run was more short-lived.

Gun to my head I'm going with USC or LSU. I'd be more impressed with 82-9 if the Pac 10 had anyone challenging them at that time (one team winning seven straight league titles just doesn't happen in other conferences), but it's hard to deny the length and impressiveness of that run.

One of LSU's titles was bogus. One of Bama's titles is disputed. Boise shouldn't even be on the list. I think USC had the best run. Miami's run is impressive because they managed to amass that level of talent (I'd say that level of talent has not been seen before and may not be seen again) coming off probation in the mid-90's.

It all started with Edgerrin James going HAM on a then #2 UCLA in 1998...that was the win where everyone learned "what it took to win" (cliche, but admitted by everyone in the program at the time). That carried on...1999 was a year with a load of young guys, and they took their lumps...then 2000 was when they took off to the moon.

Anywho..USC>>> LSU easily.

On top of this SC was clobbering teams from every conference. I think they were undefeated against the all mighty SEC during that stretch.

I'm not even sure why LSU is in this discussion really. Florida and Alabama were better in their stretches alone. USC was easily better. Miami was beastly. Boise St doesn't belong either.
