Simple. Who do you think had the better turnaround story?

its got to be atlanta. their star player went to prison, alge and deangelo got traded and their head coach bailed on them before the season was over last year. They have a rookie quarter back as well. At least Miami has a vet at QB and besides, Bill Parcells... nuff said.

I picked Miami I knew that they were going to turn around and they surprised the hell out of me. Big Tuna has the people in place to make moves but who knew these moves were going to be made this early. They drafted 2 QB's in a row (last draft and draft before that) then they brought down Chad P. This team had no WR's, Ricky was still on cloud 9, Ronnie wsa starting to look like a bust and this team looked like it had no hope.

Taking nothing away from ATL but I made a Bet with Magnetic Spectrum at ML saying that ATL was not going to be last in that division. Thus I was right.

(side note) Chad P. going to Miami & Turner to ATL shows that sometimes it's not the player thats a bust, but yet it is the system that they play in.

Dolphins get the nod, New York gives up on Pennington for Favre, Chad goes to Miami and does phenomenal down there. After their season last year no one expected them to win the AFC East this year and here they are with the game next week they clinch.

lol @ the people thinking Miami had a better turnaround....They just had a real shitty record and they got a proven vet to come in and turn the team around.

The Falcons on the other hand, lost their STAR player, THE FACE OF THEIR FRANCHISE, they lost their coach midway through the season, AND lost a lot of their other star players for that season. THEN they signed on a completely unheard of guy to take over as GM, and signed a guy you've only heard of if you're a Jags fan in Mike Smith, drafted a rookie QB to start the season, AND took another risk in putting a huge amount of faith into a career backup at HB....Yeah wow, the Dolphins definitely had a better turn around.

HUGE difference here...the pieces were in place for the falcons before last season..they lose vick...and didnt handle it well...the core of players was still there...Roddy white had a break out season last year, not this year remember that he was good last year....falcons signed a great RB but it still is the fact that they were a playoff team last year that was in turmoil and upset because they lost vick so they underperformed, but they were still a good team. The dolphins were garbage last year....an actually bad team...there wasnt a distraction to blame it on they are just all around bad. Pennington isnt a "proven veteran" he has not been that great he manages games for the most part, its not like the fins signed Tom Brady over here...1-15 to possibly 11-5 is much better then 4-12 to 10-6 or 11-5

Atlanta had a lot more negative shit surrounding the team, and most teams in that instance take years to get back to mediocrity.
