i said something (forget what) and he said something like "figures a giants fan would say that." so i continue on like "at least my team has a super bowl ring." out of nowhere he comes back with "yeah well eli did nothing to win that super bowl, the defense won that." so i went on about how that has nothing to do with it and how the team won the championship and how it was the offense that scored the 17 points so technically they won the game for them.
then this guy starts talking about how the eagles are the best team ever and have dominated the NFC East this past decade. like 10 people tell him how if they dominated they would have a ring. when he realizes he lost that battle he goes on say how he doesnt care about the past but about the present. later he makes guarantees that the eagles would easily win the SB this year and how they are the team to beat in the league.
