I was thinking the same way, the way his feet moved when he initially took the contact looked very unnatural. Other than that though, I'm liking this feature so far, and I'm very glad to see the blocking being re-done as well.

i know they mentioned some things still needing to be ironed out but I hope that gets fixed. Maybe it was just me but it looks like he was pulled back a little to get into the animation

I don't understand how he could be suctioned in with the layered blending and the PRO-TAK feature itself. I didn't not see any such thing. But if he did then that means none of this will work and this game could end up being one of the biggest scams in video gaming history. But I'm sure that won't be the case.

I believe that was just him running full speed, full power into the goalline. He gets the handoff at like that 6 yardline and he obviously is gonna be running faster and with more power that he was when he got the handoff.

No, they explain each feature in the EA blogs.....


btw in case you thought i was being sarcastic, I'm being serious when if the PRO-TAK doesn't work then this will probably a huge scam. PRO-TAK covers so many different things that if that is suctioned then there is bound to be other things suctioned and broken as well.

I keep watching it and it looks like when Ed Reed comes in, he actually pulls back on his shoulder pads. I don't know, maybe I'm feeling the alcohol, but thats what it looks like.

Keep in mind this is very much in progress and we have plenty of work to do to finish this out from tuning to blending to animation.

I wonder if Pro-talk will help with getting sacks in this year's Madden. As a Steelers fan it was insanely tough trying to get Harrison sacks.

I had no problem with Ware(both playing as a cowboys 3-4 or when i made him a 4-3 DE in my falcons chise)

To be honest it looks a lot like its just going to be a lot of sucked in animations but thats what madden is. So nothing different.

PRO-TAK helps with OL/DL interaction so yea that'll be different a bit.

Looked pretty good. Not real smooth, but meh, it's an early build. I'll be a little disapointed if its that choppy in the final build, but that's still better than last year.

They still have everyone playing way to high. Neither the RB or the tacklers ever really lower their pads.

one feature that i still think that madden needs is better o-line - d-line interaction.
Yes this is better than last year however apf 2k8 had a great system for that and it was truly amazing. The great players got through and it was very realistic
