MANCHESTER, England -- Carlos Tevez will return to Manchester City on Tuesday after spending nearly three months on unauthorized leave, a representative of the Argentine forward said.

Paul McCarthy, Tevez's adviser, said Tevez is flying back from his native country on Monday because he "wants to be back playing football" and "wants to help Manchester City to win the title."

Tevez hasn't played for City since infuriating manager Roberto Mancini by refusing to warm up during a Champions League game at Bayern Munich in September.

2nd leg of the Porto matchup tomorrow. I don't expect many of the regulars to play with the upcoming home match against Bolton in the Premier league on Saturday
 
Great performance from City today. I was kind of surprised to see Kun starting with the upcoming EPL match, guess this shows Mancini does want to win the Europa. Aguero was masterful today.
