Browns agreed to terms with QB Jason Campbell, formerly of the Bears, on a two-year contract.

Good night, Colt McCoy? Campbell joins McCoy and Brandon Weeden at quarterback, and will likely force McCoy off the roster. The Browns have been admittedly open to dealing either of their top two quarterbacks, but it's extremely doubtful new coach Rob Chudzinski would feel comfortable with just McCoy and Campbell. Campbell was a disaster in his lone start of 2012, but was contending with a ferocious 49ers' pass rush behind a pathetic offensive line. Going on 32, Campbell's elongated motion makes him a tough sell as a starter, but he's one of the league's better backups. It's within the realm of possibility he'll get on the field this season.

poor Jason Campbell........came into the league with bad timing. had to deal with a yearly changes for 4 season with the Redskins. never got a chance to get into a stable comfort zone. Redskins basically screwed him up. he had talent too coming out of Auburn.

What are you talking about? Campbell's timing couldn't have been better. The guy was a game-manager when he was in college who had mediocre stats...came out in one of the weakest QB drafts ever, and somehow ended up as a 1st round pick. Managed to start for 6 years despite having some of the worst numbers of a regular starting QB while compiling a record of 31-40...and last year the guy made $3.5M for being terrible in 1.5 games and costing his team a playoff spot.
 
He actually was playing good for the raiders I think we were 5-2 maybe 5-3 before he got hurt and Hugh Jackson just went crazy with the palmer trade
