No, he wouldn't go #1. If you took every non-MLB baseball player in the world and let them all be draft eligible, I think the only player who would give Strasburg a run for his money at #1 would be Yu Darvish.

its not hard to get a GED, if youre talking about a diploma from college

i was talking about high school and yes i know he's not the only one doing it. I also understand it's not hard to get a GED but the way the economy is and could end up being, he may not even get a job just with a GED.

ehh high school pitching is a huge difference from professional pitching so I am not completely sold on him being the greatest player ever as it seems like some of you are proclaiming him to be. But I agree that he would be stupid if he dropped of of high school.

he plays against college players in wooden bat leagues, and bats against pro talent during scout days and olympic teams, not just high school pitching people
