The second episode of "The Ultimate Fighter 13: Team Lesnar vs. Team Dos Santos" scored a 1.0 household rating and 1.2 million viewers.

Spike TV officials today emailed the ratings information to MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com
).

The numbers mark a slight decrease from the debut episode of the series, which earned 1.5 million viewers.

"TUF 13," which airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, features former UFC heavyweight champion Brick Lesnar and fast-rising contender Junior Dos Santos as coaches overseeing 14 welterweight fighters vying for a UFC contract.

Episode No. 2 saw MMAjunkie.com blogger and Team Lesnar fighter Chris Cope earn a sudden-victory decision win over Team Dos Santos' Javier Torres. The win was Team Lesnar's first of the season and evened the teams' records at 1-1.

The ratings figures for episode No. 2 include a 1.4 household rating among males ages 18-34, as well as a 1.13 rating in the males 18-49 category.

By comparison, the viewership for "The Ultimate Fighter 12: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck" saw a slight increase in its second week as 1.7 million viewers tuned in for episode No. 2 compared to 1.6 million who watched the debut.

Spike TV, which has hosted "The Ultimate Fighter" since its debut in 2005, is available in approximately 99 million homes.

The full season ratings for "TUF 13" include:

Brock will still draw close to a million buys on PPV.

For whatever reason, he just doesn't do it on TUF. Perhaps it's the match-up since JDS is bland, maybe it's because Brock isn't his cocky FUCK YOU self.

If he gets knocked out quickly by JDS though...:smh:

Even my buddy who is a HUGE Brock mark hasnt been watching.. noone gives a fuck. Just skip the show and fight.
 
This is the first season since that I haven't watched live. Saw the first episode and it turned me off, all the fighters are vanilla midgets and Brock isn't pissed off at his opponent.

Season 1 was the best

Seasons 3, 10 (Rampage/Rashad/Kimbo) and the Big Nog/Mir season were pretty good.

Every other season was meh, this was one sucks.

Not that Brock tapped into his philosophy but it can be a motivational technique. After all, if a grown man can't take being called a piece of shit every now and then, are they prepared to fight professionally? :twinkle:

If the season was between Brock/Mir, it would be awesome TV. No sizzle here though.

Thats because these babies have been cradled and called "GREAT" AND "AWESOME" AND "YOU CAN DO IT" . They cant handle anything but coddling. This isnt just TUF its an epidemic in all sports and has been for awhile.

Getting mad at what Brock said would be like getting mad at him calling them ladies during a drill.
