It looks like the latest entry in the Call of Duty franchise will be named "Ghosts" and will be released on November 5th of this year. This appears to be a leak of the cover art-

 

Hopefully, Infinity Ward will deliver a better product than Treyarch did with Black Ops II.

I'll buy it, if only because the first two weeks of playing it is completely worth the money to me. I play with people who I never play with except for COD/Battlefield launches, and I won't end up with map packs for COD either. That experience is worth it to me.

As for the people who hate COD, get over yourself. The game is way too frustrating to play for more than two weeks I admit, but lets not pretend you don't have options. Battlefield is also out and in my opinion, is the superior game of the two.

This is always a HUGE selling point for me with COD. I play with a solid group of 4/5 people EVERY NIGHT when these games drop.

if you wanna increase preorders? Give them a code to allow them to download a client to play online multiplayer starting the Friday before release.

Not sure how it would work with the online pass but smart people can figure that out.
