Hasn't Del Rio been there long enough to build an oline, build a defense, & find a QB?

At some point, the head coach needs to be held responsible. That team has been painfully mediocre for a long time, Del Rio clearly isnt the answer.

Inconsistent and mediocre is, in sum, Jack Del Rio's tenure in Jacksonville.

The team was close...VERY close to being something good...they had a feared defense...but what they did is failed to address the offensive line and continue the flow of defensive prospects to the team...therefore, the shelf life was short and the talent couldn't overcome the lack of good coaching or sound structure in the organization.

Jack and the entire regime, GM Gene Smith included needs to go. Start new and restart.

This year, get a QB in the draft (would love Andrew Luck, Jake Locker is still a good player and one the people in Jacksonville can get behind...Mallett would be an attraction for sure), and get rid of everything you can...start anew.

Eugene Monroe should be the only guy untouchable. Otherwise...blow the whole fuckin thing up.

Maurice Jones Drew, Daryl Smith and Aaron Kampan should be included too. I agree that Del Rio should be shit canned and I've wanted Garrard gone for a long ass time. It's painful to continue to watch Jacksonville hover around .500 every year or have a good season then follow it up with a fucking terrible one.

They had ALOT to build on early in his tenure.
He hung his hat on Garrard which I dont fault..I like the guy. But the F.O and Del Rio have made terrible personell decisions and let strengths become weaknesses is rapid succession with no improvement anywhere else.

Not everyone can be a good coach. JDR is mediocre. They can do better.

He has made some poor decisions, but I put a lot of that on the Front Office. After Mike Smith, the defense hasn't been the same.

I could see del Rio being a solid NFL Defensive Coordinator or college Head Coach, not sure which he would prefer at this point. But I think he might get another pass from the Jags.

I love Pocket Hercules...but, RBs are a dime a dozen.

Kampy is a nice player, but 30 and replaceable. Daryl Smith is...above average but nothing special.

Time to call spades, spades and gut the whole thang and start over.
