Leben tested positive for Oxycodone and Oxymorphone and the UFC decided to suspend him for a year.

Remember, Leben once was popped by a commission for steroids.

The UFC announced today that Chris Leben has been suspended for one year for testing positive for Oxycodone and Oxymorphone in company drug testing taken on 11/5 after Leben's fight with Mark Munoz in Birmingham, England.

Leben said that he accepts the suspension and apologizes for it. This was Leben 's second UFC suspension, as he had tested positive also on a U.K. show, for steroids, from his 2008 loss to Michael Bisping in the same city.

This was not an athletic commission suspension as UFC does not have commission regulation in the U.K., so Marc Ratner, the former head of the Nevada Commision, who is the VP for Regulatory Affairs with the UFC, presides over non-commission shows. UFC tested all fighters on the show for recreational drugs.
