I really liked Carson when he came out of USC, but he's being a diva. For all the shit Chad gets for being Chad, this is lower than anything he's ever done. Have fun in retirement. If he really "plays for the love the game", then play with the team that you signed with.

Retiring because your team sucks and your owner won't help you out is a little different than Chad Ochocinco putting on a show for himself.
I don't blame Palmer for wanting out of Cincinnati. Many players before him got sick of the losing too.

This is how i feel as an outsider as well. The sooner Mike Brown is away from the Bengals the sooner they can gain some respect around the league. He's known amongst the players as being a terrible owner to play for.
Carson has the ultimate trump card.... a Harvard MBA and 75 Mil in the bank. He can just walk away from football much healthier than the qbs who play until they are 40. He doesnt need football, he is financially set for life. I wish more athletes were as smart as him.
