the nerd herd at OS has been discussing Coach Sliders
http://www.operationsports.com/foru...429006-coaching-sliders-work-huge-impact.html
Cliffs - They confirm the coach run/pass ratio slider and Def Aggressive slider work in CPU vs Hum as well as sim games. They seem to all agree on the data for the run/pass ratio to make the teams play as they should. I bold this because i notice the CPU run pass ratio is skewed in favor of the pass for teams like Wisconsin.
The Def Aggression, there seems to be some debate over them still being set to high. But they confirm the CPU will blitz less with these changes. the 2 guys who gathered this info disagree on the def agg. 1 says the tops teams will still blitz too often, while the other argues that while they do, they only send 1 extra man. I tend to agree with the guy who says they will still blitz too often because A) the sliders wont determine what kind of blitz is sent and B) he is the one who originally had the sliders for run pass ratio
here is the slider info....
for run/pass, the guy posted the number based on his formula for getting the number....meaning he didnt round to the nearest 5.
It has been suggested that u round down. So if u have one at 39, round down to 35
sidenote: teams will abandon the run if they are down big. But its been noted that a team like army will still run late even when down. But Army never passes so u will have to decide if you want to allow this, or not lower anyone below 30 (the suggested lowest number)
2nd sidenote: this wont work for online dynasties, only for offline.
Also, i have not tried this yet, but i am going to. I want the cpu to run more. Plus on dee, if the CPU isnt blitzing as much, potentially u could lower cpu cover so they dont mirror your WR....but because they are in cover rather than blitz it will make it so they dont get burned since more guys are in coverage ( my theory anyways
)
