The piece of shit that the NBA has become, I'm choosing College.

As far as speculating on player movement, keeping track of teams and players, and just overall interest, NBA hands down.

But as far as watching a game, I'll take a college postseason game over an NBA playoff game all day. They are both legitimately awesome spectacles though.

NBA officiating has fucked the postseason to some degree, but the quality of play and star power of the college game has also been somewhat ruined by early entries.

I like the NBA just because of the form they play in.. it's not just a bunch of kids running around like they have A.D.D.
It's more organized as well.

But i mean.. you cant not notice the intensity every damn game is in NCAA. It's insane. And it seems like every game is a nail-biter. Which is nice. I just don't enjoy the college fans going nuts every fucking play.. and the full court press all game, etc.. is lame.

How do you not get that, and how do you think that is lame? Teams trying hard and fans legitimately caring are the two feathers in college bball's cap. Shit is not lame, it's awesome.

NBA is talking about shaq vs lebron introduction antics, while college is talking about good teams playing great games. The skill level is obviously much better in the NBA but the competition in college is much more entertaining as far as i am concerned.

The supposed "fans" of college basketball only show up in March. No one talks about college basketball throughout the season, unless it's Duke-UNC, Louisville-Kentucky, etc.

I am a bigger NBA fan than NCAA for sure. I only watch more NCAA BBall in March.

I'm in between. College is more about heart and hustle while NBA is just that yuor playing for your cpntract. No real heart or hustle.

I just can't understand why basketball is the only sport people simply refuse to watch at it's heighest level. And yes, there's plenty of heart & hustle in the pros.

I like college ball as well, but whoever said every game in college is a nail-biter obviously didn't watch the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament.

NBA. I love me some college basketball but I'd rather watch a Cavs/Lakers game than a Duke/UNC game. I'd also rather watch a two mediocre NBA teams play than two mediocre college teams. I really love both though.

that's not necessarily true. I consider myself more of an NBA head and I still go to at least 5-6 conference games a year on campus. And that's at a football school like LSU. Imagine how hyped they get for home games at the Gonzagas, Georgetowns, UConns and Villanovas of the world.

And even if I did concede your point about the regular season, you could just as easily say the same thing about regular season NBA unless it's a top match up. I mean how many people do you think care about games between the Warriors-Clippers and shit like that. Even two lower-tier playoff teams are boring to watch at this point in the season. Hell, my Hawks played the Celtics on nat. tv last night and I barely even had enough excitement to catch the end of the 4th. Not that I didn't care, I just already knew what was gonna happen, because we are in game 60 now....I know how good my team is, and I know how good we're not. I'm just ready for the playoffs at this point.

Good College Bball is as good as it gets sporting wise. But I'm just a sports phile I'll watch any sport at any level as long as it matters and the teams are good.

I can't get into college basketball unless it's the first week of the tournament.

If I grew up elsewhere, perhaps I would be into the college game...but I didn't, so I'm not.

I'm not all that into the pro game anymore...the Knicks playing awful for nearly a decade will do that.

Makes sense. Strong college territory and already been stabbed in the back by one team and had its bed completely shat on by another. I don't blame fans in the carolinas for sticking with College.

Same reason most southerners, including myself, prefer College Football to NFL. We've just never had a superior pro product to cheer for like other regions. Falcons let me down every year, LSU on the other hand, occasionally gives me a reason to smile. But both give me plenty of reason to drink. Which is why I love and hate sports.

The NBA is barely basketball anymore. Traveling is everywhere, defenses are non-existent or when they are there, they are called boring (ie. Spurs), complete lack of team ball for many teams, and overall, just a terrible league.

I'd rather watch college hockey than the NBA.
