Consistent Way to Stop Rocket Catching?

Any suggestions?

I suggest playing Man Coverage, bump and run, and going for the user pick whenever possible.

Low hit stick. Jars the ball loose about 60% of the time for me. Pretty hard to stop very consistently though.

now I user catch just about everything... is it cheese to user a deep ball when its a jump situation, even when your not doing it in the rocket catch sense, but your guy is jumping for the ball just like the db?

Swat the ball, catch it before it hits the ground and run for 6...

go for the swat not pick , have people in purple zones covering the outsides then cover the middle urself.

Its hard though when u play ppl who use 4 or 5 wr and fade outside rockets then if there not there theyl just rocket a curl from the slot

That's what I do against people who know the best way to stop screens and see mines coming. Once I see they're in man I look to my opposite side of the screen that inside WR runs a corner route and 95% of the time it's open.

That's why on D your own custom made plays are the best. If you want to cover the whole field the best way possible you have to manually assign defensive routes to players. Putting D-linmen in zones confuses and stops alot of my opponents.

I can't tell you how many times someone has seen a slot WR with no man on top of them. they throw the quick pass thinking it's open and have it picked off for a TD by my DE who's covering the flats. Players can read the secondary and LB's but it's impossible to guess when and where a D-linemen will cover.

Yeah I didn't get it from them though, I just did it one day when the screen was being covered. Then I realized he was wide open because my opponent was in man.

I got a zone play out of 4-6 that can shut down all screens.

I didn't even know rocket catching still existed. Are you just talking about user catches?

no u can rocket the same as 08 , its easy u just gotta turn him round manually to get the strafe effect. Curls are the easiest . Fades are common also

its not a glitch as it is very stoppble.

I use 4-6 Normal 2 man under, and I audible the DE's into purple zones with bump and run coverage.
