Cutler Vs Steelers or Favre vs Lions

It looks like a no-brainer on paper, but I think the Vikes are gonna run up and down the field with AP and Chester Cheetah. Leaving with Favre with next to nothing in stats.

Cutler faces a tough secondary, but its w/o Polamalu and hes going to have to throw a lot.

What are your opinions?

I don't think I have seen a single FFL expert ranking that has had Cutler in the top 15 and most of them have Favre in the top 5 for this week. The Lions pass defense was 30th last year but their run defense was decent. Favre throws for 225-250 with 2 TD's mostly off of play action and maybe one or two big plays.

I agree Cutler's an asshole, and people love the sour puss when he loses. But last week most of his WRs were running the wrong routes, or flat out cutting off their routes. 3 Ints happened because of that.

Anyway, I am dead sure going with Brett Favre.

He was bad but that was the first time in his career hes thrown 4 interceptions.

You guys don't think that his FIRST GAME in Chicago against their greatest rivals of all time on OPENING DAY had anything to do with how he played. He did show some composure at the end of the game but his WR core was awful. Granted Cutler should have not thrown the ball into an interception but he 3/4 of the times was throwing where he needed to be and his WR's were no where to be found.

Expect those guys to get a TON OF WORK in practice to make sure they get timing much better. Cutler has a lazer on his arm but sometimes he can't point that monster to the right guy, expect him to want to redeem himself come sunday.

I'd start Cutler no question over Farve.

Holy moly, stop drinking the kool-aid. You're arguing in favor of Jay Cutler, who just threw 4 interceptions against an above average defense, and he's playing the best defense in the league. As where Favre has better receivers and running game and playing one of the worst team's ever assembled.

Uhh 1st pick: Double coverage, 2nd pick: you dont throw that with a DL right there, 3rd pick: double or triple coverage, 4th pick: A good play i suppose.

He threw into 4 man coverages on a few occasions. (no manipulation)

No, Shaub is too inconsistant, Farve is too but ill take Favre over him anyday, I dont see Marshall having a big year at all, look how the Broncos offense did against the Bengals, and LT is hurt and i dont think this will be his last injury this year.
