Right now, the UFC is the king of PPV. They do fine cable ratings on Spike and should they ever enter the realm of network TV, with a stacked card, they should do better than they have on Spike.
When 106 did horrible #s, people were talking about whether the UFC came back down to earth and the bubble burst. 107 proved otherwise.
I wish they would scrap TUF and find a new format to breathe some new life into it, but I doubt that will happen.
At the end of the day, it is still the #1 MMA promotion in every potential criteria. Sure there are great fighters elsewhere and Strikeforce is growing, and Japan is in the mush, but it's not like by 2011, Strikeforce will be tops in the industry. No matter how many Fedor, Diaz, Aoki, Melendez, Hendo or Shamrock fights they may have.
