What do you think of the idea of my friend, David Carr starting in San Francisco?
I hate how everyone's thrown him under the bus. I saw him in his senior year at Fresno State, I forget what game but it was on ESPN2 and he coordinated an awesome upset.
He played on terrible Houston teams, didn't really get a chance with Carolina and never got to start with the Giants.
I went to a Giants preseason game last year against the Jets and I saw Carr in person for the first time ever and he threw an awesome 80 yard TD pass to Hakeem Nicks. The ball was a perfect spiral, it hit Nicks right on the numbers. It was a thing of beauty.
I was surprised because David Carr's arm strength isn't as awesome as I always thought it was, but that accuracy is AMAZING.
Hell yeah start Carr over Alex Smith. Smith is a stiff and he's ungifted and unaccurate. How the hell did he get drafted #1 overall? He should have been a 7th round pick. Aaron Rodgers was way better than him. I don't care that Alex Smith threw bombs from one knee in his workouts, that means nothing. His NFL career statistics show exactly what kind of QB he is... A TERRIBLE ONE.
Just imagine if he didn't have Vernon Davis, he'd be putting up Ryan Leaf type statistics.
Start David Carr, he's THE TRUTH :rockwoot:
