Only thing Revis has on Woodson is PDef's, which is not looked upon as important as most other categories. I know stats don't tell the whole story, but in this case, it's the best we can do.

Like I said, stats don't tell the whole story. People look at stat lines much more than individual games though.
 
Yeah it is what it is, not trying to prove or disprove just putting them out there. But those numbers combined with watching him do it has me convinced the guy is one of the best in the league right now.

I think it's pretty clear to everyone that Revis is one of the elite corners in the league. We'll see how he does Roddy White, Reggie Wayne, and Ocho Cinco. I can't see the Jets winning any of those games, and it is very hard to give a guy the defensive MVP when his team finishes 7-9. Unless he was the clear cut defense MVP, which he isn't, the league wouldn't give it to him simply because his team is 7-9.
 
I'm glad you posted this; to be honest, I had no idea Woodson had this kind of resume to become the potential defensive MVP.
 
Sharper, hes helped take that NO defense to another level. I have to go with him. Woodson in a close second.

Jason Taylor got it back in 2006 when the Fins finished 6-10 but he played out of his mind that season.

As I said before, it has to be clear that the player is the defensive MVP to win it with a losing record. Taylor was invincible in '06.
