After browsing the recent rooking ratings, which were supposed to be done better this time around, I noticed a few mistakes, but there's only one mistake that really matters. And that's Terrance Taylor, DT, Michigan. Yes, he's dumber than a box of rocks, and doesn't always stay in shape, or play up to his ability - but the guy has always had one thing in his favor - his strength. I ask my fellow VSN members, if they have any connections to EA, especially the idiot who did the ratings, to pass on a few details, which he clearly overlooked, when doing his so-called ''research.'' Terrance currently has one of the lowest strength ratings in the DT section, at 78. Again, I am not asking to raise his overall, nor do I think Taylor is bright enough to become a success in the NFL, but his lack of strength in Madden is ridiculous. And the fact is, Moore did not do any research on every player, the way we're lead to believe. This is what pisses me off most.
Pick Analysis: Taylor has been a dominating player in the Big Ten. His biggest problem is that he lacks size. He has excellent strength and is a competitive player who plays really hard. He will give the Colts more depth up the middle in their defense.
Overview
A three-year starter at nose guard, Taylor's squat, thick frame resembles a fire hydrant, but he attacks blockers like a runaway fire truck.
Taylor delivered one of the best performances in the weight room at the 2009 NFL Combine, recording 37 repetitions bench-pressing 225 pounds. Strength has always been his biggest asset.
He set Michigan prep records with a 500-pound bench press, 680-pound squat and a 670-pound dead lift.
Analysis
Positives: Prime NFL nose tackle candidate. ... Plays with good leverage, keeping his pad level low and square and getting his hands high and inside. ... Does not move much against double teams, holding his ground against the run. ... When fresh, he gets off the ball and pushes the center into the backfield to blow up inside runs. ... On occasion he can quickly knife through the A-gap to get pressure on the quarterback. ... Will chase downfield at times. ... Plays with a mean streak. ... Voted team captain in 2008.
There isn't a coach or scout that will question Taylor's strength. Why does Connor Barwin get a 76 strength, 2 lower than Taylor? Because he's a white man? We actually pay $60 for this shit? What did Terrance Taylor do to Donny Moore or EA Sports? Ron Brace got his 90+ strength rating, why? What am I asking of you? Well, I sent Donny Moore a PM about this situation, but like Terrance Taylor, I'm only one man.. I have a few folks backing me at Operation Sports, but that'll only help if Moore actually reads the thread.
I need, you, my fellow football fans to help correct this mistake. Ask yourself this, if you benched 37 reps at the combine, set michigan records, and were given a 78 strength rating, lower than some running backs, and white guys - would you be happy? Take 5 minutes from your day, and send Donny Moore a PM. They ASKED for feedback, so let's give it to them. I once saw Terrance bench press two kids, because they sat too close to his food tray at school.
Thanks.
