I used to buy NCAA every year regardless... but this year I've had enough.

NCAA 07 on the PS2 for me, I've already simmed to 2009 and landed Terrelle Pryor. I really forgot just how much the magazine covers added to the dynasties... feels great to play it again.

Can you recall ANY game that was COMPLETELY different then the demo. You can maybe get a different view of the game from the full game I can remember a few like that... however we're to believe the gameplay in the actual game is NOTHING like the demo?

Anyway, im for whatever method gets the point across that the game needs some fixing. If its calling Ben H's mother's house daily ,to kidnapping his boyfriend, i would even help.

true but those that have gotten early are usually die hard NCAA fans that will defend it no matter what it might actually be in the end. Plus all of us are usually hyped when we get a new game but should wait till some time has passed and the "newness" goes away. I hope it is better but I can't see how it can be so different than gameplay from the demo. I'll rent it and see but I don't expect to spend $60....maybe when it hits $30-40.

I just want to know how the fuck these assholes got away with actually taking away camera angle options from the game.

For years and years they've offered multiple camera options but now all of a sudden they decide to just scrap all of them and force everyone to use one that they choose for us? What kind of fucking bullshit is that?

I made a thread about it on OS. I'm sure it will get deleted/locked and I'll be banned before I get an answer but whatever, I want to stir some shit up over this because I really believe there is no logical explanation for this.

I wouldn't call myself a diehard NCAA fan, but I buy it every year and enjoy. I just like video games. I really try not to complain out loud. If I think a game will suck I won't get it. If I will like it I will. It's pretty simple for me.

While I think it's only fair to let the games come out and let the consumers (not community) decide which they like better, I have to say, while it's nice to have the stuff Russ listed, I play Madden NFL 10 and they seem to have added those same things on top of basic fundamental changes that dramatically change the way you play the game.

NCAA doesn't do that. It's fundamentally the same game as a year ago. And I think that's what the NCAA team was shooting for.

Russ, I've met you personally. This isn't coming from some anonymous dude hiding behind the internet, I've broken bread with you. Or tortilla, whatever. If all goes well, I'll be seeing you again, so what I'm saying isn't attacking for the sake of doing so, it's criticism I can and will stand behind should you ever feel the need to confront me directly.

The things you're missing that the other team added are the fundamental things that are going to change the way people play the game; realistic game speed, realistic speed difference, realistic pass velocity. These things are fundamental to the game, and NCAA did nothing with them. You can't tell me you couldn't have lifted Madden's game speed slider, so that we could at least make that determination for ourselves.

There are three things I think NCAA could have done and people would be... well, not satisfied, but at least mostly positive rather than negative: added the game speed and speed difference sliders from Madden, and brought the pass velocity down to reasonable levels. They seem like such minor things, but they fundamentally change the way you play the game for the better. You could keep default settings where clearly the NCAA team believes they are best, but allow me, as an individual, to customize my game to my liking.

Customization is King. If you take nothing from your time on the boards here at OS, please never forget that.

I agree with everything the OP said especially that Theres no adaptive AI, i used the same 5 plays the whole game.

However i did see defenders break up a few passes when the OTS animation kicked in.
