Before the playoffs I would've said Magic in 7... I say 6 now cause I think Boston is gonna be too spent to take it the distance, and 5 wouldn't be that surprising.

Logic says Magic in 6, but I want to see how the Celtics respond this round. They barely beat Atlanta last year in seven and went on to keep winning. Orlando isn't THAT great where they can shutdown the series, and Rondo/Big Baby have stepped up to the point where the Celtics have a great starting five.

Just depends on how Pierce plays and if any bench players decide to step up. Unless KG returns, this is their last series they have a chance to win.

I can't see KG coming back. He's sat for too long, not to mention what Doc was dropping at the beginning of the playoffs, about there being no KG. Wouldn't surprise me if KG does come back and play, last year Paul Pierce was in a wheel chair before going on his way, to 40+ points. I've got to see a couple games, at least the first two to see where this one is heading.

Len is right, same thing happened last year where the Celts just kept finding ways to win, all the way to the ship. Should be interesting to see how they handle Orlando. Orlando is rested though, Dwight more so than anyone else. If Orlando can steal a game or two from Boston in the Garden, Orlando could pull this out in six.

Magic in 5. Without KG the Celtics are gonna get dominated in the post by Dwight, the Magic also don't have Joakim Noah on there team rofl.

If the Bulls big-men couldnt handle Joakim Noah they dont stand a chance against Dwight. The fact that every game their was big men in foul trouble (namely Perk) should be the scariest thing for the Celtics. Dwight might avg 20/20 this series. Magic in 6.

I would not be surprised if Boston won this series but I gotta be bias

Boston without KG and Orlando match up well, with boston clearly having the better guards and orlando the better big men. For orlando, they need hedo to have a big series, the pierce/hedo matchup is going to be very interesting an whichever plays better could decide the series.

Howard should dominate, but he is not known for one who can close out games in the 4th, so someones going to have to step up in that regard. Rondo should get his against alston, who has lost a step defensively.

Courtney Lee will also be a big factor, before he got hit with a Howard elbow, Lee was playing great basketball, if he misses the first two games in boston that could spell trouble, as JJ Redick started Game 6 vs philly and that would be a terrible matchup for orlando with him guarding Allen. I could see Pietrus starting

Thinking about this. I wont be surprised if the Magic sweep the Celtics. The only threat the Celtics have over the Magic is Ray Allen. Rashard will tower over Pierce and Dwight will just be too dominant.

Magic are a mediocre team. I really think the Celts pull it out by the skin of their teeth, with gutsy performances from Allen, PP and Rondo. Orlando is soft and I can't see them winning more than once in Boston.

Expect another tough series for the C's but they'll gut it out. Only to be destroyed by the LeBrons, but who cares right?

i think Boston can find a way to pull it out, although i don't see it happening..i just wouldn't count them out. We played the magic without KG and lost 83-82 or something like that during the regular season, and this was before the emergence of rondo/big baby. If there is one person who can match up with D12, it would be perk. Both have similar body types, and perk has played out of his mind so far. If rondo can penetrate but not take stupid shots, and big baby continues to step up, i think we have a shot.

I will say I'm impressed that you didn't just do the typical "Magic will destroy the Celts" post. Props for that.
