I disagree. He deserves good share of the blame, no doubt, and that "tackle" was ridiculous. But its not like its impossible to expect a side to perform at all down a man. Not every red card results in a drubbing, even when they happen early. Teams that go down a man will typically go into ultra-defensive mode, pulling all men behind the ball and limiting offensive forays to counterattacks. Its not exciting but it can work. And I do get that things were complicated by the red card being early. Still, AVB made a decision to continue on tactically in a certain way and it obviously bombed.
