I never understood how anyone could bash anyone else about what kinda music they listen to. Diff people like diff shit, even within each music genre there's multiple other genres within that one. Like for rock, there's hard, soft, punk, folk rock, chirstian rock. And it's the same way with every type of music including rap and hip-hop. If people wanna listen to a different kind of rap than you wanna listen to so what? If people hadn't wanted to hear a different sound back in the day, rap wouldn't even exist.

I understand what she's gettin at, but at the same time, it's also because there is very little good rap out these days. I know it's out there and it's harder to find because all the MTV and the radio plays is OMG remixes all day, but the true hip-hop genre is pretty thin. At least that's how I feel, I'm not interested in digging all over the internet to find good rap music. If it doesn't come to me, I'm not gonna find it.

The Music industry is an Industry, A good number of "artists" are in the business of making money, they've made a decision that they'd rather be Jay-Z than saigon, Im not gonna hate their hustle.
