IMO Johnson is an idiot for going to the ground. At this point you have to be pretty mindless to do that in a close game.

Bowe looks like a flatout pussy. I see some saying he had no chance/was protecting from a tip. But I cant fathom the entire lack of effort on that play.
Not too often I see guys on key plays prefer *i may tip it* to *if i can touch it i can catch it*.


Costas' rant was justified. I hate the me first stupid celebrations. Announcers call these guys out all the time. Reid IIRC only disciplined Jackson because he was late to a meeting.

Call me old school, but I get my enjoyment from watching spectacular plays on the field, not self serving end zone celebrations that hurt your team. Stevie's a jackass, plain and simple. You can lump DJax in there too.

Bowe's "effort" to go after that ball last night was inexusable.

I thought Johnson's celebration was tacky and not respectful to his teammates. With the ensuing penalty that allowed the Jets to tie it at halftime and the 4th quarter TD drop, you can say that Johnson single handedly cost his team the game :yep:

The lack of effort by Bowe with the game on the line last night left me slack jawed. I had already been left speechless by DeSean Jackson's complete lack of focus against the Patriots. I was starting Jackson and VY (Vick injured) and if Jackson catches either dropped TD pass, I would have picked up a win over the best team in one of my more competitive FF leagues :smh:

Wait what? Costas was named as the 7th best sportscaster of all time by Sports Illustrated and his opinions matter. As for not playing football....Howard Cosell and Al Michaels never played the game either but I'd take what either of them said about the state of the game at that time as fact.

my theory is he tried to compensate for the penalty and swing his leg a little harder than normal and fucked up. DOH!

Johnson's act was stupid, but his dropped pass that could have won the game was just ridiculous. It reminded me of his dropped pass last year against the Ravens that would have won the game.

I like Plex's comments the most...he took a subtle shot at Johnson about his drops.
