All right, time to get the discussion rolling, with what we've seen so far what are you looking forward to/not looking forward to with NCAA 10? And will you be getting the game, and when will you be getting the game.
It's a tradition of mine as a gamer, to go to the midnight releases of sports games. If Gamestop hosts them that is. I go annually to the NCAA Release, and Madden Release. So far things I like that I've seen about the game, improved camera angles so you can see the whole field. The additions to the defense, a sort of "auto-pilot" where pursuit routes have been modified.
With things I like comes things I don't like. I think the "correction" button, or whatever is going to cause more problems for gamers than help. If your out of position on defense and use "X" or "A" to correct your player I'm thinking this will open up your defense more, leaving the gap on the area you were trying to cover, therefore resulting in big plays. I also don't see the point to having a player specific angle on defense. This is covered in the "superstar" mode, I don't think it needs to make the shift to franchise play.
Where a tool like this would be useful is during a "team-up" game ala 2k9. I could see where the different camera angles would be helpful if you and your friends were able to play on the same team. That might be something to look forward to them developing further on with 2011. Please, leave a comment, vote in the poll, love to hear what you guys think and who I could possibly be playing on opening night.
