FIFA 14 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions (PC)

The FIFA 14 demo has been released for PC users, via EA's Origin service.
It is also available on Xbox 360 and PS3 but the PC version is just beautiful.

Demo teams are FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, New York Red Bulls, CA Boca Juniors, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

Tried it out on PS3 last night.

Took me one match to determine this is the Sports game of the year. AI got a really nice improvement, gameplay is tighter. Can't wait for the next gen version. But even this generation looks really nice.

I tried it out on 360 but after playing 13 on PC, I have a hard time playing it on consoles.

I'll wait for PC.

Plus On 360, the controls seemed delayed to me

Feels really slow playing this year. Not sure how I like it yet. Itll take getting used to.

You mean more realistic? I like how it's focusing on passing and creating runs better this year instead of the constant get ball, run towards goal mentality. Also, you can edit the game speed. Dunno if that'll help with the ”issue” you're having though.

Really like the game this year, but I'm thinking about waiting until the PS4 comes out to get it (same with NBA2k). Unless EA/2k offers that $10 deal like they are for Madden.

I suppose. Im not saying Im against it, but its so dramatically different from FIFA of years past that its going to take getting used to before I can really assess it.

Plays very slow. Players don't feel like they are quick at all. Almost a clunky feel to it. Not a fan so far.

I'm assuming you guys are talking console version.


From what I understand, the PC version doesn't use the new engine.

I agree with others here, first touch seems off and when the player does get the ball feels like they are in slow motion when u turn or start going forward with the ball.

Other than that I like it, was getting it no matter what unless the game was broke
