I have been playing it on and off since its release date. Had a couple off good games with United and Everton (Won the EPL).

The Tactics creating is an awsome addition to the game, it allows you to utilise what you have or what you have but isn't that special.

It takes a while to really understand what your team is doing best and what it isn't but once you do you can pretty much create an unstoppable tactic.

You guys buy this or did you get a crack for it?...If you have a link to download any one these games I would love to get my hand on them. I already have Eastside Hockey Manager.

I buy it legally every year. Cracked versions always have bugs in them that ruin the gameplay after 5-6 seasons.

And yes Heels, I am playing. Took a bit of a break after bouncing around teams, but right now I am just killing time with United until the next patch. Edin Dzeko and Rooney are tearing it up, but they are too good for my tastes. Really thinking of starting a Dag & Red game

I'm ten matches deep into a game with Wolves. Will probably stick this out a bit before restarting as things have been going well (only one loss, wins against Man U and Arsenal at home).

However, a new patch is hard to resist and this may kill my interest in the Wolves game

Won the league in back to back years but every time a player plays well for me a big club comes in and pisses him off

So I've finished my first year at Liverpool. The top 4 of the Premier League looked like this:

Man Utd 85 pts
Man City 85 pts
Chelsea 83 pts
Liverpool 81 pts

Going into the final two games it was me in second with 80 points and Man Utd in first 81 points. City had 79 points and played two shit teams while Chelsea had 77 points and played a shit team and then. Man Utd finished against Sunderland and Hull City (20th place). They drew against Sunderland giving me a chance to win the league however my final two games were against Arsenal and Chelsea. In the Arsenal game Torres had a chance to score 3 goals and the posts every single fucking time. At this point I realize my chances of winning are low considering Man Utd played Hull City.

Long story short we shit the bed against Chelsea in Anfield and lose 2-0 even though we beat them in Chelsea 2-0 earlier in the year.

And to make matters worse in the month of April we didn't allow a goal and beat Man Utd 4-0 in our game against them.

Not winning the league sucks, but I think you did fairly well.

Hows the finances?

28.4 million for transfers and I think 1.9 million per week for contracts. I'm going after Arda Turan, Aaron Lennon, and Ashley Young, hoping to get one of them, as Maxi Rodriguez and Gerrard are getting up there. I'm planning on selling Babel, Benayoun, Kyrgiakos, Jovanovich(joins on transfer made before I took over), Plessis, N'Gog and a couple other guys who are just wasting away. Also Gerrard tore his hamstring in the World Cup and will be out for 2-3 months.

Another fun Liverpool failure involves Jamie Carragher. I was playing Porto in the European Cup Round of 16, an elimination round. The first leg we lost 2-1 in Porto but it was without Torres, Gerrard, and Mascherano. I'm winning the second leg 1-0 in Anfield and in the 84th fucking minute Carragher inexplicably attempts to do some form of trap in our box, loses it and while trying to play it to Reina knocks it into our goal. This gives Porto a 3-2 advantage aggregate. We had the aggregate in the bag with at 2-2 because of our away goal.

Wow, 28.4 million. I'm surprised. Considering the first season you only get like 3 million. Turan has been rumored as a possible buy IRL so I support that as do I support the interest in Young.

Why sell Jovanovich? Who do you have backing up Torres?

Kuyt. He did well for me and I also signed this 19 year old named Daniel Aquino who had 3 goals and 3 assists in 4 premiership games. I'm going to look at bringing on an English striker too for under 6-7 million. I need to have 8 players trained in England on my squad.

I got 9.9 million for the first season and for the second season it was originally 25 but I told them I'd "Title Challenge" and they gave me 28. I was really surprised too as I figured I'd be getting around 15-18 million.

Ah yeah Aquino is good.

I just figured, you'd have moved Kuyt to the wing or have sold him by now. If you're looking for an Englishman at striker, I suggest you look at Carlton Cole.

That was my original plan until Maxi Rodriguez decided to play really well. I like Kuyt because he's versatile and if I do sub him in, he can be moved around if someone gets hurt or starts playing horribly.

Successfully picked up Arda Turan and Andy Carroll, also got a couple guys for my reserve squad. Carroll should be a big help in the header department seeing as that was my weakest area. I have yet to score off of a corner kick. Still got 9.8 million left but that'll be saved for January in case of emergency.

I now have a solid mix of young players and more experienced players. This should make the transition from guys like Riera, Gerrard, and Rodriguez to (hopefully) Aquino, Verratti/Golara (Golara is some 18 year old Israeli who is sick and Verratti is basically my next Gerrard), and Turan a lot easier. Not to mention I've already got great younger guys in Lucas, Torres, Insua, Skrtel, and Agger.

Sold N'Gog, Babel, Benayoun, Plessis, Kyrgiakos, and somebody else. Also gave Jovanovic away on loan.

Interested to see what happens with Carroll at a bigger club. He's never worked out for me, right now he's on loan at Carlisle, doing well there. Ranger's been a lot better so far though.

Absolutely romping the Championship right now. 12 points up on Forest at second, 17 on 3rd place. I haven't bought a player yet, surviving solely on loans really. Moses, Ramsey, and few guys for cover have come and gone and done well. Macheda and Daniel Pacheco have been great, moreso Pacheco, 6 goals in four appearances or something like that. Ameobi's leading the league in goals by a fair few too. About to sign Zaki on free, he'll come in during the summer, should be a decent guy to have off the bench. Also looking at Moses, or one of my two loans full-time, and James McFadden. Probably need to look for another centermid along with all that.

Nice pickup in Turan, solid player there. As for Carroll, no offense BH or Archer, but despite my intrigue in him as a player, I never thought he was big 4 quality on FM. Let me know how he develops.

Did you mean Eyal Golasa instead of Golara? I always bought Golasa on FM09, he always turned into an excellent player.

What formation are you running?

Yeah Golasa, he's Israeli. Turan has been good so far and has filled in well while Gerrard is out. I went after Carroll because I wanted his aerial ability and the fact that he was young factored in as well. I'm really not to concerned if he doesn't pan out but I think he's worth the risk.

I'm running a 4-2-3-1, basically what Liverpool runs in real life as I recently learned while watching the Liverpool-Wigan match on ESPN2 right now. I have Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, and Insua as my back four. Lucas and Mascherano are my center mids with Lucas playing support and Mascherano playing defensive. Then I have Riera, Turan, and Rodriguez with Riera as support and Gerrard and Rodgriguez attacking. Then obviously Torres up top as my target man.

Gerrard is out for another 4-6 weeks for me so once he comes back Turan will probably slide outside and replace Rodriguez but it really depends on who is playing better between Riera and Rodriguez.

Promoted in early April. Used some of my younger guys for the rest of the season and Vuckic won Player of the Month. Only have about 3.9 in transfer funds, ended up selling a few guys and buying an attacking mid/forward from Internacional for 6 mil. Can't remember his name off-hand, but he scored in his first game, and I'm hoping to bring him off the bench a lot. Suddenly got 15.75 in transfer money, and also about 7 from Barca for Tim Krul. I've got Cardozo coming in for 10, so I'm hoping to pick up a winger with the rest of the money. If I can pull that off I'll be pretty happy with my team.

They really wanted him, kept offering 1.5 to 2 mil for him. I wanted to keep him because he was going to be my starter this year. Put his asking price at 10m, they countered with 6.75 and Ashley stepped him and accepted it. Now I need to decide between Harper and Forster.

My damn team cannot stay healthy. Currently I have Torres, Agger, Skrtel, Riera, Nemeth and Gerrard with injury. All of them start but Agger and Nemeth and even both of those guys get in a lot of games.

After reading an article about Landon yesterday, I got the itch. In addition to my career game, I'm running a USA national team game.

I'm holding out to take over the Team USA job in my game. The Brazil job was open, I applied and I got it. I declined though in hopes of one day coaching the US, or at least England.

I haven't started from the beginning with the US in this years game yet, but I did double duty with them and Newcastle. Took them to the quarters of the 2014 World Cup, got out of an amazingly tough group, then lost to England on PK's. Had four of my starters not been out on cards I might have won

I'll do another one sometime closer to the World Cup when it's all I can think about.
