Gamestop trade in offer

I'm sure you guys are probably aware but I didn't see any posts on the first page.

When I was in GS the other day I noticed they are offering $40 credit for this game if you trade towards Madden. So even if you were on the fence it would be like a month rental for $20.

I had no intentions of buying this game but I will probably buy Madden because somehow I get suckered in every year. It seems like a win-win.

The fuck you talking about? A majority of people get NCAA as a one month rental until Madden drops. I personally play MADDEN all year round, not NCAA. It's good to know but I'll still probably keep them both.

There's a good couple of guys like me that get both every year and can balance em out and play them year round.

How's that? You're spending $80 to play two games. Especially in the day and age of achievements/trophies it's more than worth 'renting' NCAA for $20 for one month in my opinion.

So now you cant do it for Madden 2010.

That's not the offer I'm referring to. When you buy NCAA, like I finally did yesterday, they give you a voucher. When you go to buy Madden you trade in NCAA and give them your voucher and you get $40 credit towards Madden. And the voucher says the voucher is good until 08/23/09, which is great because then Madden will have been out for two weeks and I can see all of the impressions and decide whether or not I even want it.

I bought it for PS3.

I have 3 local Gamestops and none of them seem to have a handle on if I need the voucher to trade in NCAA. I have NCAA from Gamefly and was thinking about buying it, I think I can get it for like $44. So I can basically rent it for $4 for a month if I then trade it in towards Madden. But I asked 1 guy if I had to have the voucher and he said "Uhh I don't know you may just want to wait and ask someone." Called 2 other stores and 1 said Maybe I needed it and the other said that I needed to have it. Fucking idiots, this is why I avoid these places

You need the voucher, which you are only supposed to get if you buy the game from Gamestop. But if they want to give you one for free then kudos to you.
