Not really any great matches this week aside from Arsenlol/Spurs. Fully expect City and United to take care of business against much weaker opponents.
 
Wolves really dicked themselves with the manager situation. There's no doubt they must be regretting letting McCarthy go now. It's not even like their shortlist had good options on it, and they couldn't even get one of them. This has all the makings of an easy victory for Newcastle, at SJP, as full strength as possible, Dembas, two week break, etc. If we can't get three out of this it'll be a big disappointment.

If Mancini tells them to get to it, entirely possible. Blackburn have allowed more goals than any other Prem side and are 3rd or 4th worst for goals scored, so I wouldn't expect them to score much or hold City out.

McDermott, if this was the start of the season, would have been fine with me. Curbs, Bruce, etc were all trash.
 
McDermott is definitely a worthy candidate, but they never really seemed to have a chance. It seems like every season around this time there's an opportunity for a manager to move from a potential Premier League club to one struggling to survive, must be a tough choice, but I'm glad he's staying.

Never bet against Arsenal. Not cuz they're "that good", obviously... but they can decide to perform to their highest level at times and that can be impressive. It makes it impossible to know what they are going to do. Now if they could only perform close to that a bit more consistently....
