According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns might decide to "look no further" if Bills DC Mike Pettine's second interview for the team's head-coaching vacancy goes well on Tuesday evening.
The Browns are getting desperate after Broncos OC Adam Gase withdrew his name from consideration Tuesday, and Pettine seems to be the only man truly interested in the job. Seahawks DC Dan Quinn is also a candidate, but can't return for a second interview until Seattle's Super Bowl run is through. Pettine reeks of a desperation candidate, but he's not a poor one. A Rex Ryan disciple, Pettine's swarming, aggressive Bills defense was one of the most underrated in the league this season.
