Clayton didn't win ROY. Roethlisberge did. Clayton was huge in his rookie year. 80 catches, nearly 1,200 yards and 7 TDs.

Then he shit all over himself. He blamed Gruden for his failures after that. After Gruden was fired he said Gruden broke his confidence. He got a $25 million extension and caught a handful of passes last year. He sucks. He's a one-hit wonder. The Giants have to be DESPERATE to sign this piece of shit.

Clayton getting that huge extension has to go down as one of the most baffling signings in the history of the NFL. It wasnt as if the Bucs bought into a bringing in a new player who showed some flashes of his old play to end a season, it was the same team that KNEW exactly what they were getting themselves into because they were familiar with how poor the player had played. Just mind boggling.

I am telling you, he had some people in this town absolutely convinced that he was going to turn it around with Gruden gone. He literally laid all of the blame for his poor play at the feet of Gruden by saying that Gruden was too hard on him and broke his confidence. I called bullshit then, and that is exactly what it turned out to be.

All Giants fans will hear is how "amazing he looks in practice" and how he was showing "flashes of his old form." That's all the guy can do...practice well. When the shit is on the line...he can't fucking produce.
