The Montreal Canadiens have signed goaltender Carey Price to a six-year contract extension.
As per club policy, financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
In 65 games with the Canadiens, Price posted a 26-28-1 record with a 2.43 goals against average and a .916 save percentage.
Originally selected fifth overall by the Canadiens at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Price has played his entire five-year NHL career with the team posting a 124-104-35 record, a 2.56 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage in 271 games.
