I advise thats a bold move youre going to try to do. I had part 1 and 2 DVR'd last night, and when part 1 was done, I had no choice but to watch part 2. If youre gonna do all three, bess be prepared and clear your schedule. Your looking at 4 hours of watching you gotta do. Yes there are commercials, but thee bad boys are packed full.

Like I said, I watched, and I loved it. I only had a vague idea of their history. But to see them start as friends, why it goes sour, the characters directly responsible for it getting fucked, and how fast shit gets fucked up. It was really good. I also had no idea they were some straight hillbilly back woods mountain folk. Shit was crazy. I can never imagine living in a world like that back then. I would have been fucked.

I've watched the first part and first half of part 2, its pretty good. I hope the History Channel starts to do more of these. Hopefully they stick to lesser known, yet interesting historical topics. I had never even heard of this feud before I found out about this show.

You're not the only one...I've read lots of people never heard of the feud till this show and that baffles me. Hatfields & McCoys was universally known in America (not in depth details but the fact they hated each other and killed over it) I thought.

Looking forward to checking the series out sometime next week.

That was exactly my original thought, but the curiosity got the better of me. If any two actors should have been picked to do Appalachian Hillbilly, these two fit just fine.

Anyone who played the NCAAF series back when they had the magazine covers should know of it. It seemed like Hatfields vs McCoys was the title for every other issue due to rivalry games.
