Suh took votes from McCoy that I think would've made him the winner with a stronger performance against Nebraska.

I GUARANTEE that if you swap McCoy's performances in the Nebraska and Texas A&M game, he walks away with that trophy. But nobody can remember that shit. They only remember the last fucking thing they see...and that pisses me off to no end.

I agree again and I'm sure most people do . McCoy was the front runner coming into the Nebraska game but I would argue that his stats v Texas A&M have to be taken with a pinch of salt considering the ability of the A&M D (as all games v awful Ds should . Same for Ingram)

He's a bit of a mix . Has good speed and burst but can run guys over . It's hard to really call him a "power back or speed back" to be honest ....

I wasn't just pulling for Suh to win JUST after the Big 12 game. Have you watched Nebraska? Have you seen our abysmal offense on display? The inconsistent run game and non existent pass game? But week after week, we still had a fighting chance, because of Ndamukong Suh. His numbers are already mind blowing for his position, but look at the rest of the D-line, Jared Crick is the biggest beneficiary of Suh. How many times do you think Suh attracted a double team, and guess who would be left unblocked? Thats right.

When considering your Heisman vote, I think your performance in the big game says a lot about that player and his season. When it matters most, when the most is on the line. When your season is on the line.

You could also note that Texas AM's D is ranked in the 100s . I'm pretty sure New freaking Mexico has a better total D than them BUT it was still a big game (rivalry) and McCoy did perform well so it has to be taken into account .

its obvious Suh gets best defensive lineman but its not considered as big a deal. They should just replace the best QB or RB award with the Heisman so there is less debate about it. Besides, its based on popularity, networking and top 20 schools.
