Looks like a killer build to me. The 770 is pretty crazy. I have a 760 and it pretty much maxes everything out at $260 beans. I guess the 770 should cover you for the next 3-4 years. Should be an awesome PC that will last a very long time. Just note that processor is not an overclockable one.

yea i dont want to OC. not comfortable enough to do so.

I was torn between the 760 or the 770, friend tols me I should splurge a little since it will make my CPU last longer. But if i do change something it will probably be the graphics card, going to a 760.

just read a few more things. Maybe i should just go with the 760. looks like getting a 770 would just be overkill for a single monitor setup. I mean if i wanted to upgrade my monitors as well it might be feasible but i dont want to spend that much. Still need to buy a cpu chair.

If i need help later, would getting another 760 for SLI be an option to help run games? If i do decide that do I need to upgrade my cooling system?

As long as that MB supports Nvidia SLi then all you have to do is slap on another 760 and BOOM.

take a look at your ram costs. $77 for 8gb is way expensive imo. you should be able to get 8gb for more like 40 or 50 bucks. other than that it looks good. i have many of those parts myself

oh, also seems like a lofty price for the mouse and keyboard. you can find wireless combos on newegg for 15 - 20 bucks

nah not really for 1600MHz. Cheapest I found, with a decent name, was Kingston for 58.99 on a Newegg flash sale. RAM has gone up in price.

RAM has been going up in price substantially over the past year. I'm sure he could find some a bit cheaper, but about $60-70 is what I'd expect for 8GB at the moment.
