I think its about time this show got its own thread in here. Season six just started Monday and I just got around to watching it.

 
I am kinda disappointed he got out of the mental ward in the first episode, after they previewed the whole season as him in there.
 
yea they did make it seem like the whole season was gonna be in there, but im glad it's not because the show would be completely off the original topic... but the season does look very good and i can't wait until next week
 
I see what you are saying. I did kinda miss Foreman, Taub, Hadley, and the occasional Chase/Cameron appearance. I figured it would be him in the ward and the rest of them solving cases on their own, but they completely focused on House. The preview for the rest of the season did look good though.
 
^^ i agree i could have sworn some of the season preview clips included more than they showed us of the mental ward.... the preview for the season after the first episode had a clip where he says i quit so maybe he goes and works at the mental ward???????
 
I just started watching the series, and in the future, is every episode the same damn thing, because it is starting to get boring.
 
What season are you in? It is the same format for most episodes, but the relationships and such really start to get good in season 4/5. Brings a whole new side of the show I think.

the layout for the episodes is the same but if i were you i would just go to wikipedia and read summaries on the seasons so far and then just watch the new season cuz you'll never catch up lol
 
I didn't really watch much of 1-3, except the occasional re-runs I would catch. But I thought 4 and 5 were great. The whole finding a new team aspect was really cool and refreshing than the plain/stale solving medical mysteries every episode. And then 5 was just amazing with the Kutner/Amber storylines. Very sad and touching.

Anyway else laugh at how dumb next week episode looks? We just had a 2 hour episode of him trying to get that letter so he can go back to work, but the next episode shows him saying I quit to create drama, throwing away the 1st episode.
 
I kinda dig the idea of him staying in the ward, maybe not as a doctor though. I thought he was hilarious fucking with the staff and playing with the insane people, I wanna go to a mental ward.
 
You know the one thing I fuckin hate about this show? They wrap up on interesting storylines waaaayyy too quick. First the asylum, now House quitting...just one episode each. And it's not the first time they've done it, they do it all the time. I'd like to see interesting stories like that arc over a few episodes.
