Basic premise - It follows a group of management consultants who stop at nothing to get business deals done, even if it calls for extremes. Its a comedy

Just watched the premiere episode before it officially starts next week on the 8th. Little over 30 minutes, but I really like the show and will probably make it one of my new shows.

Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, and some others, noticed some of the other chicks in the pilot, stripper was on that 70s show and CSI Miami, ex wife was on Heroes, wife of the other business partner was in True Blood, just small things I noticed.

At first, I wasn't sure how the show would be based on the premise, but was pleasantly surprised by the show. Also have Luck in the que with Dustin Hoffman, another show based on the premise isn't too interesting, but we'll see how it plays out. I was reading some good reviews for both, so I found them online before they officially air, just have to see what happens.
 
Yeah neither this or Luck sounds too interesting at first glance but with the actors attached I'll give them both a shot.
 
Luck is awesome based on the pilot.

Then again, it's right in my wheelhouse, since it's about degen gamblers and hustlers who hang around racetracks. It's like my life 10 years ago.
 
I am interested in both as well. Ben Schwartz is a funny dude, although Jean-Ralphio is the worst part of Parks & Rec.
 
I'll give it a shot because Showtime usually has pretty strong programming....and Brnt I'm sorry but I absolutely love Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Rec.
 
The show isnt for everyone. I love how Don's character breaks the 4th wall though, and time freezes for everyone else, but I actually found a mistake during one of them. It was when they arrive in NYC and are going up to the main building, I think the first time, Don breaks the 4th wall and moves towards the camera, and when time unfreezes, on the male characters starts talking to him in his new location, stupid I know, but was just weird.


Also, on another note, I watched Luck the other day, not sure how I feel about it, I feel anything with Nick Nolte I have to have subtitles. I may give it another couple of episodes because of the cast though, and the preview for the season seemed really intriguing, like the group trying to get their money. Was a little disappointed Hoffman didnt have a bigger role in the pilot, but the preview makes it seem like he is more of a behind the scenes guy.
 
BTW does anyone else think Kristen Bell is kind of overrated? Sure she's a fit blonde but the face is kind of jagged, no?
 
I was really disappointed we didn't get to see the blonde lesbo chick's tits, I've had the hots for her since she was on True Blood a few years ago.
 
Saw the 2nd episode. Didn't see the Pilot. I'll watch it on demand or something soon. Seemed like a pretty cool show.
