im done playing red dead and ncaa is shit thanks to EA patch #2. So i have nothing to play. fuuuuuuuuuu

anyways, i was looking for something that i can play offline and was thinking about renting halo 3 for the SP mode. i never played a halo game (except halo3 MP beta) so i thought i could give it a look.

what about gears 2 or bioshock 2? Or maybe Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City

i am kind of leaning to assassins creed 2 since the SP seems to be at least 20 hours or more depending on how u play. Plus its 30 used, 40 new so i guess u cant beat that

what about the SP in battlefield 2?

I really, really enjoyed AC2. I think that would be a great option if you're looking for a SP.

If you haven't played Borderlands, that's probably your best bet for SP. MP is very fun too.

Borderlands COOP is Fucking awesome....I played everyday for like 2 weeks with a buddy.

AC2 for $20 seems like a bargain and great.

Batman: AA

Battlefield is supposed to a great multi-player game.

TBOGT for GTA is very good.

I honestly don't see anything on the horizon worth playing....not sure what the next game to get is...

I Played the first 3 and I dont suppose this will be much different IMO. I will rent at some point. Not excited about it like I was for Halo 3.

The Darkness - sweet FPS shooter that has "creatures" attached to you that gives it a unique gameplay. The story is badass and more then makes up for the poor aiming system. ($7)

cause none of the people on my FL are playing anything right now. Most are playing madden and everyone else is playing random games.

Borderlands is Probably the Most fun FPS I've played...
it has a totally different feel from Fallout 3, so much so that it is actually difficult to compare them since they are such different games

I'm still playing it. I've played a lot solo and a lot with my roommate. It's a ton of fun either way.

i went with borderland and assassins creed 2

i kind of made out at gamestop with the deal they have. I traded in a old fat ps2 that i never play, NCAA 11 and Red Dead

In return i got Borderlands, AC2, Pro PowerUp Rewards Card ($14.99), 12 months of gameinformer magazine, and had $8.04 to put towards COD Black Ops.

The pro rewards card also gives u a bonus to buy 2 get 1 free on used games. Once i get the coupon via email, I can go back to the store and get the free used game with this deal. The rewards card also comes with 750 points when i finish signing up. With the points i can redeem them for XBL points, Gold service cards, shit like that. You get the points just for buying shit or trading in shit.

I normally dont care for these rewards cards, but the deal was pretty good and i didnt have to pay anything out of pocket for it. This is a newer program for GS and the buy 2 get 1 free was also worth while....now i get another game to pick. The rewards card also increased the value of my trad ins, and got me a discount on the used games i bought

Oh and the best thing i got....pre order code for my Black Ops Avatar outfit...Wooo fucking hooo!
