I think I figured out how to recruit

The key is hard sell to unlock the pitches. I did it because usually when you do it they get the teeth smile and I keep talking to them until they have the regular smile and it seems to be working fine. Try this if you couldnt recruit good like me.

you could recruit all 1 star players and they will be in the 90 but there senior year since dynasty mode is broken with progression so there really no way to recruit

actually thats not true.... if you have freshman already on your roster that are terrible they will be great.... but any recruited 1 star player will stay a one star player, unless you do something extraordinary with them...

I'm crazy good. On Varsity with Florida, I was able to get 25 5* players. Here is my secret...

Play as Florida on Varsity.

LOL this thread really has no tips or anything.

I haven't figured out the whole recruiting against thing yet but what I have figured out is while your looking at your recruit, sometimes they'll have some green arrows pointing towards them. Pretty much you should be attacking those points with your recruit IF they are good sells from your program.

Example i had was I had a recruit who was high on playing early and it so happened that I had an open spot (AKA showed A meaning it was a good pitch). I saw the green arrow for that, talked to the recruit on that subject and he signed relatively early, jumping a whole bar.

I'm not sure how this would be if i was 2nd on his list but it helped i was #1. I would like to see how this would be worked if I did that and i wasn't high...maybe i'll be moved up...maybe not...but just throwing this out there.

i dont know if this was in the previous version of the game, but the other day i was talking to a recruit, and I used Hard Sell on proximity to home [was his highest priority] and he instantly committed. I thought it was pretty cool.

what i do is i put around 20 guys on my board, and offer them 30 minutes each. Then as the list winds down your able to offer more minutes..the more you talk to the player the more you have a shot.

Exactly....Even with Purdue I was able to get a pretty good class with 2 five star recruits..tho half of what I got was 3 stars

I pretty much do the same thing, except I do 30 guys and 20 minutes a piece. I have a hard time picking which guys to go after so I like having a lot of guys on my board. I think I might try it your way though just to change it up and since they add more recruits after the season is over.

Does anybody know what the deal is with the X2 thing in green next to the player's picture? I know it multiplies their interest with each pitch by 2, but is there a way to unlock it or does it just show up randomly?

I'd honestly suggest adding around 20-25...don't add too many and have your minutes spread around so much but have at least enough guys so you can replace seniors.

I wouldnt add 35 guys.... or if i did i wouldnt talk to all of them, if you have guys you wanna keep your eye on.... you can put them on your board.... but i usually only talk to around 15-17 guys, they get around 40 minutes each, some alittle more some alittle less..... but usually you can get some of those guys to commit early enough for you to jump into the race and add some of the other guys you were watching later in the season..... just my two cents...

Here is the Recruiting glitch.

Basically, you can have a guy visit then after the visit take him off your recruiting list. If you put him back on your list later then he is eligible to visit again and still has the interest he gained from the first visit. It's a cheesy way to cheat the system and get commits.

wow recruiting is so much easier. the "today's call" or whatever it is called on the left when you are on the phone with them tells you what they are interested in.

i can find a player's most, very highs, and highs using less than 30 recruiting minutes most of the time.

another recruiting tip is to find as many of the recruit's pitches (until they hang up on you) until u run out of minutes for that week, then leave the dynasty without saving. when u come back, u can start where u left off, u know all the recruits already, and u still have all ur minutes
