Would change it up a little bit, methinks.

Suicide Pool.

Bellator Tourneys would work well for this but Zuffa-brands are tricky seeing as dudes get hurt training/cards change so damn much.

Basically pick who you want for the week through each card and then for the next ones available, you gotta pick different fighters to win.

More than likely this would fall apart within Week 2 though.

What about at the end of 2011, start of 2012.....we have some form of draft. Not sure how the order would be determined or how many rounds, but for arguments sake...

ex. 15 rounds....we have to pick 15 fighters and combined, whoever has the best record at the end of 2012 wins. So the number 1 overall pick could be GSP or Bones, #2 would be Anderson Silva...but you also have to think about who fights the most (the Bellator guys) as they may be more valuable than the top UFC guys.

May be a bit boring since a lot of the mid-card and undercard guys wouldn't get picked...but it'd be new.

I like this idea...but not as a replacement for the Guru. I think this could just be run alongside the guru. That way we wouldn't have to wait until the end of the year to start it either.

that could work. we could do that alongside the guru. have the regular standings and a suicide-type pool. what im really looking for is a way to end the season. last year with the playoff was ok but sort of fizzled out.
