Along with

1) Passes in the flats too effective
2) Man coverage is still suspect. Either the defender runs the same route your receiver is running( and I really mean runs the route, with his back turned and everything like he is the WR) or the defenders acts completely stupid and doesn't break when the WR does at all.
3) Receivers still "morph" to the ball.

I'm sure I could name more but I'm too tired right now.

Like I said, far from the greatest game ever.

I'm just glad its playable compared to years past. This time last year I was pounding my head into the wall because of the game.

Still a lot of issues bug me. Realist talked about defenders running routes with receivers...I really dont like this. Comebacks and hitches is where I notice it most. And anything across/over the middle they cant seem to follow/shade the receiver. Makes the passing game too easy if you can recognize this.

Defenders make BIG plays on balls that they shouldn't because their backs are turned, jumping WAAY too high and intercepting passes. Frequency of big hits is a little high.

Offensively, lineman can play beautifully sometimes. But sometimes its like, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Especially in the run game. Blockers seeing defenders right in front of them and turning in to block someone else. D-lineman are released/beat by lineman at the most opportunistic times. Really frustrating to run a toss/stretch and right as I get to the edge the tackle or tight end releases his man to tackle me. Or just being untouched from the snap. I dont mind seeing this occasionally, it does happen, but not as frequent as its been for me.

Completely irrelevant, but the visors being correct in the edit player function, and not in the actual game is really bugging me. I hope they include this in patch 1 or 2. The attention to detail this year is sooo good. And this one little thing is driving me crazy.

I'm enjoying it. Thats what I wanted and said all along prior to release. I just want to enjoy Madden.

Yep I've seen defenders, 4-5 yards away from the receiver, running the same route as the receiver as if they are the ones about to catch the ball.

btw, last night, I was playing a game online and the EA bar at the bottom ( the one that shows down, distance, and time) disappeared. The whole 4th quarter I didn't know what the down, distance or time was. I was guessing. It didn't come back up until I was able to pause the game.

I thought this years madden would make me put NCAA 10 down, but I'll be playing NCAA just as much as madden this year.

The game sucks, really bad. It will take a week for the newness to wear off for some people, but I can see right away it took 1 step forward, and 2 steps back from last year.

I wont go as far and say it sucks, but imo, it's average at best. Last year sucked. A lot of people bashed IGN for it's 7.5 rating. So far looks about right to me...
