With all of the talk of the Buccs having an immature locker room culture and being such a young team, I think the last thing they need are low character guys like Jackson and Finnegan added to the mix.

The new regime is being brought in to remedy that so that shouldnt be an issue going forward. That said, sometimes a change of scenery will do the trick. We shall see. Wonder whats going on with the Manningham talks.

I would like the move. Bringing in Finnegan would mean saying "adios" to Talib and would allow us to draft Claiborne. If Barber comes back, it is just icing on the cake as the depth at CB is thin IMVHO. The addition of Jackson would give us a legit #1 which we have not had in a long time.

As for the immaturity in the lockerroom, just look at what BB said. The new regime is going to give this franchise a direction. Something they have not had over the past three years. Schiano has surrounded himself with a great group of coaches - especially with Butch Davis. I don't know what to expect next year in terms of W/L record, but, I do believe you will see a much more focused, disciplined and fundamentally sound team.

I would prefer to draft the Oklahoma St kid, and re-sign Brandon Lloyd. Lloyd looked great for the Rams. Stick Amedola in the slot, and that's a pretty good collection of starters. Then, all of a sudden guys like Brandon Gibson & Greg Salas become high caliber backups, instead of below average starters.

From what I knew, Jackson didn't cause any sorts of problems in the locker room.

He was stupidly caught for drink driving a couple times and he had the holdout but don't see why he's a mental case.

Finnegan is the type of player you love to have on your team and hate to play against. Hes considered "dirty" by many players and think about that how many CBs are actually physical enough to be considered dirty? Most cbs avoid contact like the plague and cant tackle to save their lives. He played safety in college and kept that safety mindset while playing CB in his pro career. Last year he played the Charles Woodson type role where he was all over the field but he played Nickel when the package allowed it.

It is a real possibility that Schiano/Dominik part ways with him. Dom wanted to get rid of him last offseason but Raheem vouched for him.

IMVHO, if they sign Finnegan and they want Barber back, as reported, then I do think it means that there is a very real possibility that they release Talib.
