Jets: Did they belong in the playoffs?

Who cares if anyone thinks they belong or not. They're in and they beat up on the Bengals on their home field.
 
Who cares if they deserve it, they're in. And the sooner they're out, the sooner I can go back to reading newspapers and browsing facebook.
 
Jets are lucky, 1st they play against a Bengals and Colts team that already packed it in and gave them free wins to get into the playoffs, then they were lucky enough to face the coldest team ni the playoffs that only got there cause they started hot.

Philly is predictable. Every year they try the same approach... Throw all over teams.. and every year it ends up biting them in the ass. Yeah, it got them to the NFC championship a couple times, but someone needs to open their eyes. Run the damn ball. The reason why Dallas had such an effective defense tonight is because they didn't respect the run at all. And the team that beat their ass tonight was dominant. Congrats to Dallas (As much as I hate to say it.) because once again they proved that Andy Reid's "I want to pass the ball" system didn't work. /rant.

Did the Jets benefit from scheduling? Yeah. But even as a Steeler fan who feels cheated in a way (Steelers were actually hitting strides late in the season) it's not something you can control. The Jets controlled their own destiny, they won the fucking games and got in. It's over and done with so yes they deserved to make the playoffs. And they're taking advantage of being hot at the right time. Rex did a good job at shutting Cincy down and taking advantage of just how bad Cincinatti has played the last 4 games. To be honest, Im glad the Jets get the Colts or Chargers and make it a good game because that is all I can hope for now...
 
Forgetting today's game ... yes they do.

You make the playoffs, you make the playoffs. Period.

and to think, it was 10 times worse when the Giants were in because NY is more of a Giants town than Jets.
 
All teams that are in the playoffs deserve to be there. That said, if the Patriots win today...sending the Jets to Indy next week....wouldn't karma be a bitch if the Jets won? Thinking that the Jets wouldn't be in the playoffs in the first place if Polian hadn't folded the tents on them at home a couple of weeks ago.

I'd be pulling for the Colts since they are my favorite AFC team but that would be something that worries me.
 
Jets can have my respect now they finally get to play a team I hate more than them. I hope that 1735-esque offense drops 90 on San Diego.
