I like it. I'm not a fan of Day N Nite, in fact, that may be my least favorite song on the album. His rapping isn't great, but he definitely has musicianship and some of the beats are really good. It's not a great Rap album- it's a great Hip-Hop album.

Bullshit, this is positively great stoner/zone out music. Basically a more emo and drugged out 808 and heartbreak. I give it a 6/10 on overall music talent, but 8/10 on production/catchiness. Got like 5 different songs stuck in my head at the same time right now.

I don't think I'll be jamming it for the next two years or anything, but it's a solid first effort for a rather unique artist IMO.

He definitely need more rap verses on there. Or at least let some dope rappers get on a 16. Would not have minded another Kanye feature or even something from Lupe/Consequence.

Beats are too sick not to let someone jump on. I wish I knew how to do this, but a DJ should do a Budden/Cudi mashup and call it Man on the Mood Muzik, it'd easily be mixtape of the year. It would also be the most toxic blend of emo rap ever.

Sound-wise, I definitely liken it to a darker The Love Below.

Definitely some Love Below vibes too. And the backend of any OutKast album. The only thing that really separates it from Love Below is the tones. I think it's way darker and a lot deeper in pitch. I think it falls somewhere between the two, with a shit ton more drug influence. Dre was clean at the time of Love Below, and Kanye seems like just a weed/alcohol kind of guy. Cudi's depression and drug abuse shows through a lot more on this title than on Love Below, which lends itself to the 808 comparisons, but it's a different state of depression than what Kanye was going through at the time of that being made.

So, in sum:

Love Below (- Romance, falsetto) + 808s and Heartbreak ( - the heartbreak) + Drug addiction + Clinical depression = Man on the Moon: The End of the Day

I'm really liking this album. I like how it is darker. Have been jamming to this for 2+weeks now and I don't see an end in site.

Wildcard's ENYCE jacket is zipped too tight. He's too busy jamming out to DMX and doesn't like anything that isn't from 1999. I'm actually a huge Cudi fan and think this is a very well put together CD. Cudi isn't a hardcore rapper who preaches the streets, so if that's what you were looking for then you already came in with the wrong mindset.

at 1st I though this CD was just OK. but 2 and 1/2 months later I'm really feeling it.

Yo this album is really shitty to be honest, theres only one song where he actually raps, he is always talkin about how he fuckin feels wich i can totally relate too, but where are the punchlines? i was waitin for a t-pain /lil wayne feature as well! - This nigga is seriously whack tho , almost all of his songs are too real to be true and on top of that , this nigga didnt even let my boy GUCCI! get on the track. This album sucks.... i need a couple of more sampled tracks with the same lyrics i used on another song to be put as the hook , and a couple of "Yeahhhhh" "Burrrr" "Gucci" "Young Mullllaaa babbbbayyy" "Birrrrrrrddd" to put into the mix.
