highlights from the AMA yesterday......
1.0. Accoutrements and other questions about weapons: There were no accoutrements to be seen in every video. I am fully aware that you are in the pre-alpha status. Nevertheless, accoutrements are more than important, especially for a game with a high claim for historical accuracy.
Not implemented yet.
1.1. Will there be scabbards (swords as well as daggers)?
Most likely.
1.2. Will there be scabbards on every model in the game (sword and daggers)?
Most likely.
1.3. Will there be the possibility to equip different sword-belts and scabbards for sword (you have a slot for belts)?
No
1.4. Will there be the possibility to equip different dagger scabbards for daggers?
No
1.5. Why are not your guards wearing any swords, when they have long polearms? Having a polearm did not implied that swords were not worn as a secondary weapon.
Polearms were most common weapons for low level guards and soldiers. Sword was very expensive weapon and not everyone had it.
1.6. Will the enemies wear secondary weapons (swords if polearms are the first weapon) and even tertiary (daggers)?
Maybe, pole arms are still a big unknown for us
2.0. Historical accuracy: Historical accuracy seems to be a very important point for your game. Yet there were some issues in the presented material.
2.1. Why are you using swords with a fingering on the hilts? Those swords were not present in 1403.
They were not common, but not impossible. But the main reson is, we have such a sword in our office and somebody created it for the game as well.
2.2. Why does your soldiers do not wear any chain mail under the plate mail? 1403 was a time, when plate armor was worn over chain mail over a gambeson. Wearing a plate only over the gambeson without a chain mail came up decades later.

We thought about it a lot and we all agreed that we would love to have dog in the game as a companion. Best friend who will follow you everywhere, help you in combat, warn you from danger when you sleep or go hunting with you. If we reach this goal, there will be dogs in the game and you will be able to own one. There will also most likely be dog related quests.
Everything you see in trailers is real-time captured from the game. Some of the things (e.g. ladders, destruction of the castle walls), are something we don't have implemented yet and it's basically a cut scene. Other things, most notably all combat scenes, are captured from a playable build.
My only question is if there is going to be any endgame (something to do) in Act I when you are done with story-mode?
Yes. Its going to work like most other RPGs out there. Story is just one of the questlines and when its over you can still continue inother quests.
Can you fight five guys at once?
It would be very difficult for five enemies to attack you at the same time, they could hit each other. That being said, we don't want to have a situation like e.g. Assassins' Creed where enemies wait to take their turn to be killed. There will be engagements with multiple enemies, but ideally you will have some allies to have your back.
What historical events inspired the setting of your game? The struggle over the throne of Holy Roman Empire between two brothers - king Wenzel the Idle and king of Hungary Sigismund.
We are aiming for simultaneous release across all platforms. We will know for sure when we get toward the end of the development. Even if the console version is delayed, it will be months, not years.
It is a RPG based on pure realism.. wich means.. severed limbs, bloodbaths, open wounds,... will the game also have these mechanics in combat system? Not that I am some kind of fetishist, but if you hit an enemy with Zizka´s mace to the head, you can imagine the mess..
Severing is most likely not possible technically and I would say, it wasnt very frequent anyway in real world, its not that easy.
What about owning the house? Get a wife and child? If you finish the main story, will the game itself offer some content in wich the player can stay in game and do some things? Like lets say in Sleeping Dogs?
The game is still story based and takes place over relatively small period of time, so it wouldnt make much sense story wise. You will have few places to stay, where you can sttore your stuff, but its not possible to buy property.
Will there be crafting?
Yes and playable as a minigames. You will not be able to do everything. You are a blacksmith, so you can do the stuff blacksmith would be able to do like making and repairing weapons. You can also cook, do some alchemy, go fishing etc. You cant do armors or clothes it would be either very complicated, boring and takes years to learn
